I Believe In Blogging So Much.... I Am Blogging For A Friend Too!

I believe in blogging so much that I have been spending about 8 to 10 hours a week (time for attending the demos etc.) blogging [ DanielSmithArt ] for friend's business.  It has been fun and I think that doing it will help keep me sharper at blogging since it's different.  It is an Art Supply company called Daniel Smith Artists' Supply here in Seattle.

The current blog is the testing version (a free blogger account) and I am now working with the Real Estate Tomato (who I am also working with on my SeattlesUrbanVillages blog ) to create a custom blog.  I hope that the new one will be launched in the next couple of weeks.

I have an art background, so getting involved with this art blog is making me think about painting again...I haven't painted in a long, long time.

Although I admit that initially it was hard to find my rhythm doing it, I think I have this week, and I have also been able to post on all four of the blogs I write for, so far this is my 12th post total this week!

Whoo Hooo, I am so excited!

How do you find time to BLOG 8 hours a day and still be a full time Realtor. I can't get back to my leads fast enough I have to sit down late at night just to get some bloging done

Good luck with your new blog! As Eric said where do we find more time?! It is very easy to get involved with too much in our business to the point that it starts interfering with your business.

Deborah, that's a great idea. it will give you opportunities to think of things from different perspectives which will make you a better blogger.

Hi Eric, I am blogging for Daniel Smith 8 to 10 hours a week, and I have not been blogging on my SUV blog in weeks (because I was planning on a new custom version).

I finished 6 weeks ago a really busy time for me in real estate and right now just have one listing, so I have some time to develop the other blog.  The trick will be keeping up with them all when I get busy again.  Three of the blogs are Real Estate ones, and I hope to generate some business with them soon.

Hi Sonja, LOL!  Yes, I forgot to say that I am single and generally neglect my house and garden in favor of blogging!

Hi Darleen, yes, he does.  I was excited that he became convinced about bloggingt, and decided to go forward 100%.  I had been talking about it for two years now...so I am happy to help him get set up and do it.

Hi Peter, yes that is exactly what I have been experiencing.  I think that thinking about, and blogging on another topic is a good thing for keeping sharp at blogging about Real Estate.

I have been helping my husband do some webwork for clients, and I have found that it is easier for me to think of Excellent content for them than it is for me. Must be like cleaning someone else's house vs your own LOL

Hi Courtney!   LOL...what is your medium?  You should come to one of the free demos sometime...they are pretty informative...I'd love to meet you there sometime!  Well, actually I like to meet you sometime in general, but that would be extra fun.

Wow Deborah...keep up the good work... I was on a roll for a bit with my blog...but now just can't find the time.  I think it might be an Ebb and Flow thing for me...I am hoping to find the time to blog soon.

PS...I always enjoy your photos.  The opening boating season shots were nice.

Hi Ashley!  LOL, well, so far no posts for the past couple of days which means I must be in the "ebb"!  Thanks about the Opening Day of Boating photo, it was amazing timing to be showing a house above the Montlake Cut when the races were happening!
