It's Done! My New Outside Real Estate Blog!

It's done! It's done!

My new outside real estate blog [ SeattlesUrbanVillages ] is done being designed by The Real Estate Tomato , and I am now working on filling it with content!

Blog HOME HOME SEARCH MY HOME'S VALUE SEATTLE PHOTO ALBUM SEATTLE NEIGHBORHOODS CONTACT ABOUT

That is going to be my primary job this coming week, writing articles to post in it.  There are also "pages" of information on Seattle neighborhoods and relocation information to write and post...and while it is going to be a BIG job, I am really looking forward to it.

I already have an outside blog through Typepad [ SeattlesUrbanVillages.typepad.com ] but I never really liked it, and always hoped to hire The Real Estate Tomato to customize it...that's why I chose Typepad to host since that is what The RET uses.  Well, as it turns out, Jim at The Real Estate Tomato prefers Wordpress.  So now I have a blog that will languish in the Internet, and become a blog ghost... *sigh*

But the great news is that I will have a much better blog to put my time and effort into...I am sooo excited!

Guess this is a new territory for me. I simply can't imagine another responsibility, and do not know how much work and involvement it takes.

Deborah,  Congratulations on your new blog.  I have considered doing another blog but I don't know how I would find the time.  How long did you consider the new blog and do you feel you will be able to contribute fresh content to both?

Hi Naoma, thank you!  It is hard...I have also been doing a blog for a friend too, so it's like juggling with paying attention to one or two while others are neglected (a bit).  This week and a half has not seen me on AR!

Hi Kay, thank you!  I took the photo after not being very happy with my options....lucky for me we had a couple of hours of sun breaks!

Hi Russ, thank you and congratulations on your new one with RSS Pieces and Mary McKnight!

Hi Jon, it is a lot of responsibility and work, but there is a good post on the Real Estate Tomato right now by Teresa Boardman about finding time to blog, may want to check it out by following the RET link.

Hi Dave, thank you!  I will be returning to a more active status here on AR as well.

Hi Jimmy, I have wanted a bog like it for two years now.  Oddly enough, I am finding that the more I blog, that better and faster I am at it.  I now have 4 blogs that I write for, 3 real estate and one for a friends art company, only two are mine though.  Part of my "problem" has been that I was not proud of my typepad blog, and that effected my wanting to spend the time writing, and then I would feel guilty writing elsewhere.  So I think this is really going to help me.

Hi Deborah...Love the look of your new blog.  The blue is just the right shade.  Makes me think of mist and yet the possibility of some sunshine.

I wonder how you can manage four blogs.  Yes, I did read your other post.

Hi Kathleen, thank you!  Yes, the blue is a cool marine blue....and right for Seattle!  Thanks for reading the other post too.  I am only a minor condtributor to one blog, the ones where most of my efforts will be the Seattle's Urban Villages, and the Daniel Smith Artists' Supply blog.  My AR blog posts will be similar to my SUV posts.
