Seattle - Queen Anne's Kerry Park

Seattle - Queen Anne's Kerry Park

Kerry Park at dusk #1

One of the most beautiful places to view the Space Needle, Downtown Seattle, Elliott Bay, West Seattle and Mt Rainier (when the mountain is out!) is from Queen Anne's Kerry Park

Kerry Park at dusk #2

The Park is a destination for tourists, Seattlites, photographers, and the neighborhood.

Located on the South Slope, near the top of Queen Anne Hill with all it's shops, restaurants, pubs and Queen Anne style (as well as others!) homes.

Seattle with its' hilly terraine has views everywhere, and with all the bodies of water, many have water views as well.  Because Queen Anne is so high (second highest hill in Seattle) and is sandwiched between Elliott Bay on the southwest, Lake Union on the east, and Salmon Bay on the north it is nearly surounded by water.  Many homewoners and condo owners here have fabulous views!  And the commute to Downtown Seattle is just down the hill!

Watching the light change as the sun goes down is a real pleasure with the passage of time marked by the Ferry Boats crisscrossing their way between Bainbridge Island, the Kitsap Peninusla and the Ferry Terminal on the Seattle Waterfront.

Thank you Chris, Ravi and Bob!

Seattle is really a beautiful place to live, I love the hills that the city is built on (Although the city fathers did wash a hill right down into Elliott Bay a 100 years ago!) they allow you to enjoy the views you happen upon when driving or walking around.

You really take some great photos.  Are you using a digital camera?

We are so busy!  No breaks this year.  How's it going with you?  Give me a call sometime.  Maybe we can go take some photos together and you can give me some pointers.

Hi Ardell!   Thanks!  Yes, it's a digital camera.  That would be fun to do a little photo shoot together...although you did a wonderful job with your "Halloween House"  :  )  so I am not sure if I have any pointers.  I'll give you a call sometime this week...say "Hi" to Kim!

PS - re-sizing is still being a challenge for me though!
