Hey, it's National Chocolate Day!

Ignore your scale for a few more days...because today and tomorrow are National Chocolate Day

Christmas Chocolates from my Christmas Stocking

FYI, "More than 150 million chocolate Santa's will be made for the winter holiday season", and I got two of them in my stocking.  One has already been enjoyed the other...soon....

Besides knowing that Chocolate is yummy, what do you know about it?  Here is a Chocolate Test to quiz you on your knowledge, I got 6 out of 9 correct, how well do you know your chocolate?  Actually Chocolate is not as bad as you were told as a child, there are even some health benefits ...so have a piece of chocolate, celebrate the day and enjoy!

Now, where did I leave that second Santa.....

I also got 6 out of 9.  Hey, every day should be national chocolate day! : )  Check out my recipe for Mole Enchiladas.  Yum, chocolate!  Thanks for the quiz, that's always fun.

Hi Chris, you know the test was actually harder than I thought it would be.  Surely given my background and experience with Chocolate I should have scored 100%!   Your Mole Enchiladas recipe (looks yummy!) tells me that you have excellent experience with Chocolate too, see that test was hard!

Yes, it was definitely hard.  I figured I would get a 9 out of 9, no problem.

Geez, I wish I would have read your blog earlier.  I didn't live up to my chocolate-snarfing potential today.  I guess I still have a couple hours..BTW the picture above looks like just my purse when it gets tipped over!

Hi Lisa, you still have all day on Saturday because it's a two day EVENT!  You have a wonder-licious purse if it tips over like this!  :  )   I "staged" this for the photo...photo-styling seems to be something I enjoy doing.

Hi, Deborah!

I got a 6 on the test.  Chocolate is my weakness, particularly dark chocolate.  BLR Guy's tower of chocolate looks real yummy.  LOL

Thanks for the quiz...I've always thought chocolate was healthy...got 6 also. The chocolate tower that BLRGuy posted...I can truthfully say, it WAS delicious.

Now, I gotta go eat some M&M's that one of our agents got me for Christmas...a bag over 2lbs...YUMMY!! :)

Hi BLR Guy, your Chocolate Fountain is overflowing with Chocolate Goodness....oh my!  A "7" score on the Chocolate test...you obviously know your Chocolate Stuff!  :  )

Hi Brigita, I am thinking that a "6" on the test is pretty much where most of us, except for Mr BLR Guy :  ) , are going to end up...it's a "Challenging" Chocolate test!

Hi Cris, (aka 6 also) aha, so you actually dipped an apple or strawberry (confess a finger too!) into the Chocolate at BLR Guy's party....yum!

Hi Thesa, Chocolate...Chocolate...Chocolate...Chocolate...Chocolate....No, no mention of Chocolate here!  :  )  Must be a Chocolate craving you heard!

Well, I got two wrong primarily because I guessed at the riboflavin percentage and figured Switzerland has fewer people than the US. Yay, chocolate! And I prefer dark myself.

Hi Elizabeth, you and BLR Guy are the Chocolate Geniuses here, both with 7's on your tests!

I'd like to prefer dark to milk Chocolate (you know the better health reasons) but I enjoy what seems to be the lower melting point of milk Chocolate.  ...Mmmmm...silky,  "melty" milk Chocolate!
